SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT

An SLA is a commitment that details the expected service levels and metrics to measure their fulfillment. This can be done between the activities that Marketing must achieve so that Sales can reach its goals. For example:

  • Marketing: Commits to delivering 100 qualified leads to the sales department each month.

  • Sales: Commits to contacting each of these leads within 1 hour of receiving them and to provide feedback on the quality of the leads.

With this type of agreement, performance reports are created that allow tracking of compliance with this agreement to detect opportunities for improvement.
